Cambridge Dial-a-Ride to continue its services in the latest National Lockdown Restrictions

Cambridge Dial-a-Ride, is pleased to announce that it is able to continue its services throughout this second Lockdown.

Bill Hughes Chair of the Charity says ” As a result of the new Lockdown imposed by the government starting on Thursday 5 November and scheduled to run until the 2 December 2020, Cambridge Dial-a-Ride will be operating, albeit differently to normal, in order to comply with the new Lockdown regulations”.

“Minibus transport will still be available for our members using our Covid-safe procedures which were put in place when we restarted operations back in early August Says Johan Williams Dial-a-Ride’s Office Manager, Members can still book journeys with us to attend day centres which are remaining open during the lockdown and essential shopping trips to supermarkets and those retail outlets allowed to remain open.  Journeys can also be booked to transport individual members if they have doctor, dentist or other medical appointments as per the Government’s Guidelines.  We will continue to carry out these journeys under our Covid safe operations which includes limited numbers we are able to transport, in order to protect our members as well as our members of staff”.
