New Operations Manager for Cambridge Dial-a-Ride
Cambridge Dial-a-Ride, a Not for Profit entity which provides an essential minibus service transporting people with mobility issues in the Cambridgeshire area, is delighted to welcome Ryan Langston to the team as its New Operations Manager.
With a strong background of Passenger Service Vehicle knowledge, both as a PCV driver and customer support Officer Ryan also has experience in responsive transport projects. During his work with Stagecoach and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority he was very much ‘hands on’ in devising and implementing key areas of this project including customer service, technology and marketing elements.
Bill Hughes Chair of the Charity says, “We are delighted to welcome Ryan to the Dial-a-Ride Team where he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Cambridge office, including our drivers as well as the many rules and regulations in keeping our fleet of mini-buses on the road. With his experience in customer service, technology and marketing, Ryan with be a great asset in helping the Charity to raise awareness, manage grants and donations and increase its membership and journeys. Ryan takes over the mantle from Shane Buffham who’s really made a difference to the operations and efficiencies during his time here and we would like to thank him very much for his energy and enthusiasm in bringing about important changes to our operations. On behalf of all the Cambridge Dial-a-Ride Trustees, Staff and Volunteers, I warmly welcome Ryan ‘on-board’, where he will no doubt bring new ideas, efficiencies and technology to the role”.
