Welcome 

Welcome to our Spring Newsletter which along with some welcome sunshine, will bring you an update on activity at Cambridge Dial-a-Ride and some ideas for future outings and journeys you could consider taking with us. 

Getting out and about again 

As many of our member’s clubs, societies and day centres have reopened following the pandemic restrictions, we have been delighted to see members getting out and about again.  As Spring is finally here we therefore thought it would be a good time to remind you where we could take you and suggest some other places you could try.

Fancy a little shopping trip, leisure event, coffee/ lunch/afternoon tea date or even a visit to the seaside? Then call us on 01223 506335 where we can discuss your requirements and endeavour to arrange the transport for you.

All Change at the Helm

Our Office Manager Johan Williams, who had been at the Helm of the Dial-a-Ride Office for over 18 years, has recently retired. Our new Operations Manager Shane Buffham will be taking over the reins and joining Lyn Hartley in the office.  I am sure you will join the Trustees and staff in wishing Johan every good luck in his well-deserved retirement and welcome Shane to his new role.

Bank Holiday Closures

We don’t operate during Public Bank Holidays therefore our offices will be closed Good Friday 15 April and Easter Monday 18 April, Monday 2 May, Thursday 2 June, Friday 3 June and Monday 29 August 2022.
