Coronavirus (COVID-19) – Advance notice advice of restricted service

Dear Members,

In light of government health advice, the Cambridge Dial a Ride services will be severely restricted in the coming weeks due to a number of our volunteer drivers and office staff exceeding the age of 70 years and are therefore subject to self-isolation advice from Government. This will prevent them from being available to drive our vehicles.

Clearly this advised movement restriction will apply to many of you as well and you can help us enormously by making your own decisions and advise us if you are not going to travel by giving us a week’s notice of cancellation.

We in turn will inform you if we need to cancel a journey due to a shortage of drivers or other external influences which may require us to close down for a limited period.

Dial-A-Ride will continue to provide a safe and secure service for all our members.
