Chairman of the Trustees retiring.

We have now passed our 20th anniversary and are heading for our 23rd.

I have been associated with Cambridge Dial a Ride for 14 of those years. I must say I have enjoyed the experience both as a volunteer driver starting in 2004 and as your Chairman from 2011.

I have decided that the time has come for me to retire from CDaR and hand over to a new group of trustees who will I am sure continue to manage the company professionally  and with the interests of our members at the forefront.

II am taking this opportunity to wish all our members a continuous happy association with CDaR and trust that CDaR will be able to continue supporting Cambridge residents for many years to come.

Bill Hughes who has been a volunteer driver with us for the last 3 years will be taking over the role of Chairman of the Trustees from the 1st October 2018.

The team who will be working with the new Chairman are Linda Mills, Clive Hay and Simon Turner. Johan Williams will continue as Manager.

Best regards to all our readers and customers.

Alan Edwards
